The Ocean PSTN Gateway is a key building block of any strategy for migration to IMS, enabling a phased move to IMS without risking revenues from PSTN-connected customers. The  carrier-grade platform acts as an ultra-reliable bridge between the worlds of TDM and IP, giving PTSN customers a transparent link to the developing core IMS infrastructure at the same time as giving IMS-capable customers access to what will initially be the much larger PSTN-using community.

Using dedicated carrier-grade hardware, the Ocean PSTN Gateway features industry-standard SIP connectivity to IMS networks and is available with a wide range of approved PSTN signaling schemes. Able to handle very high call volumes without congestion it also allows hardware and software changes and additions while live in service.
