The Ocean intelligent Protocol Converter (iPC) offers a comprehensive protocol conversion solution for telcos wishing to integrate equipment with their networks.
It offers any-to-any conversion between a multitude of different signalling schemes, selectable on a per E1 trunk basis (TDM schemes only), via a drop down menu in the easy-to-use graphical configuration tool.
In addition, it offers options for both TDM and VoIP connectivity, enabling it to act as a PTSN Gateway or SIP trunking solution.
Furthermore, grading capability enables the platform to be optimised for high Erlang applications or concentrated to lower traffic levels, thereby saving on valuable network capacity.
